The Macfie Clan Society of America was formed on December 21, 1982, largely due to the efforts of H.R. Scott McPhee and his wife Marvene. This great vision that began with a handful of charter members has now grown to roughly 300 members strong.
The Macfie Clan Society annual meeting and 25th anniversary celebration will be on Saturday, the 18th. We have had to change the venue for our annual dinner because the Steak and Ale closed down. It will be at The Emory Conference Center and Hotel, 1615 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta GA 30029. We will order off the menu and have separate checks. The menu on Saturday night will include an entree for chicken, steak, Thai shrimp, or pumpkin ravioli. These cost $14 - @22. A beverage is $2. Kids' options are pizza, chicken fingers and French fries which are about $5 each. Please make plans to join us, you can let me know up to Saturday if you plan to attend. If possible, please make plans to help us with our entertainment. If you have a song, poem, reading, dance or music, please plan to bring that along. Hope to see many of you at Stone Mountain.
